The details of the 115.1-metre Lürssen superyacht Ahpo have remained under wraps since her launch in June 2021. Now the interior and exterior has been unveiled in full glory as the vessel enters the charter market for the first time with Moran Yacht and Ship.Photo: Guillaume PlissonDesigned internally and externally by Nuvolari Lenard, with naval architecture by her builder Lürssen Yachts, the vessel features an elongated and sinuous exterior design. This is punctuated by the black elements of her superstructure which give her a unique and distinctive aesthetic. Photo: Guillaume PlissonThe 115-metre superyacht Ahpo is distinguishable by her timeless, elegant bow and graceful superstructure sweeping aft, which she most certainly met the brief of the repeat client. “For Lürssen, the task was to build a motor yacht for a repeat client, an upgrade from his 86-metre Lürssen, who had many years of owning and chartering different types of yachts behind him,” says Peter Lürssen.Photo: Guillaume PlissonThe superyacht Ahpo required a top-notch design and engineering to match to accompany seagoing comfort for his family, guests and crew. The interior brief was to link all the elements of nature, harmoniously balanced throughout the yacht with a clear drive towards rich over opulent.Photo: Guillaume PlissonA fitting first place to begin with this theme is her wellness area on the lower deck. The stunning backdrop of a large bamboo tree encased in backlit frosted glass welcomes guests to her stylish bar on one side, while a luxurious massage room is on the other side. In contrast to this zen atmosphere, is an explosion of coloured mosaic tiles which make up the hammam and day head as well as the Jacuzzi and plunge pool.Photo: Guillaume PlissonPhoto: Guillaume PlissonPhoto: Guillaume PlissonAhpo has a 12-seater cinema further down her hall past her glass encased engine room. This futuristic addition allows the owners and guests to view the impressive engines and mechanical spaces and see how the yacht works.Photo: Guillaume PlissonThe main deck of Ahpo hosts a large conference room with a beautiful custom centrepiece table with an antique map of Jamaica engraved in bronze and surrounded by deep blue resin. Her main saloon can be accessed through sliding doors to reveal an elegant formal space with a self-playing Steinway piano.Photo: Guillaume PlissonPhoto: Guillaume PlissonThe centre of the superyacht Ahpo is dominated by her grand staircase that allows guests access to all floors. The staircase itself represents a path and depicts an olive tree that grows up to the sky, surrounded by cranes. A striking crystal sculpture hangs from the ceiling, composed of falling feathers, each built by hand. …….
